Snax is an artist possessed by music. He’s traveled from his origin in the suburbs of Washington, D.C., to San Francisco, to New York City, finally settling on the vibrant artistic scene in Berlin. Along the way he co-founded gay art band Fagbash, and was one-half of disco-pop band Captain Comatose.

The inspiration of Berlin prompted Snax to go solo, writing and performing the majority of instruments and vocals himself on four solo albums, the latest being Shady Lights released on his own label Random Records. Since then, Snax founded House Of Snaxine and fostered his house music project Box Office Poison. Upon supporting The Scissor Sisters throughout Europe as the opening act, Snax was described by frontman Jake Shears as “a one man fro freak show not to be missed.”

Snax has DJ’d dance floors everywhere from Bogota, Montreal, Moscow, Melbourne, Tel Aviv and of course Berlin. Like the music he creates, Snax’s sets cover an eclectic range, revealing a myriad of sounds, a love of all things house, and always a keen ear for moving the crowd.
